Strathmore Photomount cards classic emboss white

I really like the way the cards look with my photos on them, and the ease of sticking the photos on with the double sided sticky tabs, however, I would like to see a smoother writing surface texture, because the cards are not very easy to write in as neatly as I would like.

Sticky Residue on Inside of Card

Disappointed that 3 of the 10 cards were unusable. There was excess glue sticking the card together. Tried to remove it with a blade, and then with my fingernail. Was left with a dirty, somewhat less sticky, smudge. I won't purchase again without first getting staff to open the pack and inspect that all are usable.

Glue Residue on Surface of Cards

Disappointed that 3 out of the 10 cards were unusable due to glue residue on the inside of the cards. I tried to rub the residue off, but, being sticky, it immediately got dirty and then I was left with grey slightly less sticky smudges. Won't buy them again without asking to first open the package and visually inspect the cards before paying.

Photo cards have a spot of glue under the frame which impedes inserting photo or art.
Cannot see that this is necessary. Glue spot must be cut to allow insertion
