These heavy weight cards are made from Strathmore's high quality 400 Series Bristol Smooth paper. The surface is perfect for pen & ink, mechanical pencil, airbrush, and markers. There is little to no tooth, making it easy to create fine lines, detail drawings, or marker drawings. All cards comes with accompanying envelopes with a unique, beautiful deckle edge.

What is Bristol Paper?

Bristol generally describes a heavyweight drawing paper. Bristol sheets provide a stiff, strong surface to work on without the need for mounting. The term Bristol derives from the early days of European papermaking when mills would send their finest papers to Bristol, England to be pasted together to form heavyweight drawing sheets.
