Speedball Project Sets - Lettering

I like Speedball Nibs as they work well. I don't usually buy the sets, because the holder is not my favorite, and in this set I really don't use those particular pointed nibs. I just wish the Opus location in North Vancouver carried more individual nibs in the various sizes and styles that Speedball offers.

I use calligraphy to inscribe names and so forth in our church’s Book of Remembrance. I used to use fountain lettering pens, but filling them required dipping the nib into the ink bottle, operating an internal pump with a metal lever on the side, then wiping off.the pen’s business end. Very fussy procedure— a waste of my time. The new pens I purchased recently use ink cartridges, a clean and neat solution. In short, I love these pens!
