The Rhodia pad was designed as a professional tool, so it is easy to use and durable. It has a fold-around cover, hard coated-board backing, and 21 lb, neutral pH vellum paper.

People love Rhodia pads and notebooks for their grids, smooth paper and iconic cover. Rhodia pads feature a coated card cover which is perfectly waterproof and flexible. The Rhodia pad cover is scored to neatly fold back and features superfine vellum Clairefontaine paper in white with an exceptionally smooth satin finish. The unique stiff back cover makes writing easy and portable, and micro-perforated sheets facilitate easy and clean removal of pages.

These economical pads are a favourite of artists, designers, architects and people who like to have a pad handy for notes, sketching and hand drafting. It was first made in the 1920s and overshadowed other notebooks of the time because of its quality materials and the innovative design of the scored folding front cover. The famous orange cover dates back to the 1930s – it was a standard hue for cardstock at the time and remains unchanged to this day. Also available in a black cover.
