Neptune – Synthetic Squirrel
When Princeton set out to create a synthetic version of squirrel, they developed a brush that may actually outperform the natural version. Neptune is their softest and thirstiest synthetic brush, delivering oceans of colour. Experts in natural hair have been incredulous that this is actually synthetic.
Neptune comes in a beautiful range of shapes including mottlers and quills with rich wood tones and sea glass aquarelle handles.

great dagger brush!
I am really enjoying using the Princeton Neptune dagger brushes 1/4" and 3/8". They hold a great amount of water and colour. The responsiveness to the movement of my arm and hand is also great.

I bought the rigger after watching a review on YouTube and it's a game changer! My trees look more natural and organic, and I can create tiny details for grass because of it's fine point.

My Favourite Brushes
I have tried a lot of brushes over the years but,Princeton Neptune are my absolute favourite.I had one early on in my watercolour journey and I really didn't like it. I would not recommend these brushes for the beginner, they are too soft and thirsty. As a intermediate painter they are a masterpiece of a brush.
