Aqua Elite: Finest Synthetic Kolinsky Sable
Aqua Elite is an innovative synthetic-hair paint brush that is indistinguishable from natural Kolinsky, yet significantly more affordable. The performance of this new synthetic hair brush technology makes Princeton Aqua Elite the new standard for discerning watercolor artists.
These synthetic watercolour brushes excel at precise work, holding a fine point and excellent paint/water capacity. Customers praised their performance for detailed botanical illustration, blending, and creating flower shapes. However, some noted the price is high. One customer experienced lengthy backorder delays, though praised quality once received.

Holds a ton of paint/water and comes to a very fine point
Holds a ton of paint/water and comes to a very fine point. I have more expensive brushes that do not perform as well. Hard to believe that such a reasonably priced brush could perform so well.

angular shader
The 1/2" angular shader is working really well for making flower and leaf shapes! Love it!

Great brush but TOOK FOREVER TO GET. They were backordered which I didn’t obviously know when I ordered. Thought may a week or 2 wait. It was a couple months. The brush is amazing though!

Still waiting for my backordered item from July
Trying to be patient but this is crazy, shows the Princeton Aqua Elite round 4 in stock but both times I have connected they tell me they don’t have it in stock. Guess I will try and see if I can get one somewhere else and ask for a refund. Not super happy

Watercolor brushes
I like the Princeton elite brushes I bought at Opus a lot. However, it’s way overpriced. I wonder how much the markup was from the original manufacture’s price.

Versatile and affordable quality mop brush
I bought a large mop brush for a background and a finish and touch painting. The brush creates beautiful marks with both wet and dry media, such as watercolour, watersoluble graphite, and Pan Pastel. It was slightly more pricey than I originally wanted, but I was pleased about the purchase. The store staff was very helpful in finding the right kind of brush for my purpose!
