Opus Saturna Drawing Table Easel

I purchased the Opus Drawing Table Easel for my 21 year old’s birthday, had it delivered to my home. I was impressed with the quality of the easel, and how appropriate it is for its use on a desk or table. It arrived to our home in Robson (near Castlegar) quickly enough for me to send it on to where she lives in Delta. It is perfect for her and she is very happy with it. She has limited space, and when not in use it is easily stored.

Great for drawing

It’s just what I needed. Sturdy, multiple angles- but so far I’m just using one. And it looks beautiful-

Saturna Drawing Table Easel is great

Bought this for myself just before Christmas. It’s just the right size for most drawing needs, and the quality is first rate!

Great price, very nice product!

I like this table easel, it’s just the right size for me, it’s easy to change the angle positions, and it’s lightweight. The only downside side of it being light weight is that when I apply any real pressure to the easel, the whole unit tends to slide back. This will be easily remedied by me purchasing some rubber feet for the bottom of the base. Other than that one small thing, I’m very happy with this product.

Saturna Drawing table easel

This works well for me - its small;er than a drafting table and portable.
I don't have a large studio space so can work on a table in another room
Also like the choice of angles it has

Saturna Drawing Table Easel

I needed to add a drawing table while retaining my painting easel. Adding a drawing table would take up too much space. Now I have a 2/1 solution. Perfect for all art projects. I was going to build one but couldn’t for the price of this unit.

Well made and practical

I was impressed by the workmanship in this table. It is a good size with plenty of room to spread out materials. You can slip it under the bed e when not in use. My only suggestion is that it have a bottom piece for storage of paints, brushes, pencils, etc.

Donna

Is the small table-top easel with flat beech top appropriate from watercolour? Or will paint run?

Opus Art Supplies

Hi Donna, I think that is something you would need to experiment with! If you are a wet on wet painter, the paint would most likely run, but if you are more of a wet on dry painter than you might be fine.

Dorothy D.

How much does this table easel weigh?
Does it have a handle for carrying?

Opus Art Supplies

Hi Dorothy,

It weighs 8.3lbs. It doesn't have a handle for carrying. Although, in it's flat position it is quite easy to carry.

Thanks,
Opus Team
