Locally-made, Opus Finest Primed Stretched Canvas (#12 Duck) is professionally stretched on heavy-duty pine stretcher bars, and is a beautiful, heavyweight, and durable canvas.

This canvas is ready to paint with acrylics. We recommend at least two additional coats of Opus Essential Gesso when painting with oils.

A great canvas

A great canvas. This was my first time using clear gessoed linen, and I was impressed. Only one layer of oil paint provided full coverage, whereas toned white gessoed canvas usually requires two layers of my application to be opaquely covered.
