Opus Essential Wirebound Sketchbooks

These have been my go-to utility sketchbook for years. Great durability, lots of pages, decent paper, able to stand up to the punishment of a messy artist’s life. And I can’t beat the price!

Love them. Been using them for journals for at least? 20 years. They’re great. I like that they lay flat when I’m writing.

Made a great travel journal---opened flat and was compact enough to travel and use.

Bought this for my daughter for her Sketchbook 11 elective. She was very pleased how easily she was able to decorate the cover with a variety of decals. She was also pleased with the paper quality in that the markers she uses do not bleed through onto the next page.

I bought this sketch book because I wanted a sturdy, attractive book with great paper. Its beautiful blank pages were meant to lure me to work on a project, and they succeeded. I use the sketchbook to take notes, and it makes the process feel more serious and professional. I love this sketchbook and will buy many more at the amazing Opus price.

I feel like smart detective whenever I use my spiral wirebound notebook. The paper quality is nice and does not bleed through even when I use my juiciest markers. Will certainly buy again.

Good quality paper - I would like a smaller format book as well if you could bring them in, with the comb-binding.

I recently purchased an Opus wirebound sketchbook. Excellent quality mixed media paper and a generous number of pages. I would definitely purchase this again.
I need to look into other sizes.

Was a gift so not able to comment.

Have really enjoyed this new small sketchbook! The covers are sturdy which is helpful for me as I take this sketchbook everywhere with me. As well as providing a good flat surface.
Used pens and pencils on this sketchbook and the paper has them glide across so smoothly!

Have not tried any wet mediums yet however the paper may be too thin for heavy wet mediums

but if you're looking for a travel friendly sketchbook for drawings on the go I highly recommend!

The size is perfect that I can put in my pocket. I use it for watercolor sketching wherever I have coffee or enjoy a beer … I will get couple of more for sure.

This is a great everyday sketchbook for a great price. I use pencil and drawing pen-- goes on smooth, doesn't bleed, erases cleanly. Paper does stretch a little when pulled out of the book, but, for the price, it is excellent.

I really like the paper. But the wires often disconnect from the cover and pages and I find that annoying

The wires come out of the sketchbook fairly easily and let's face it - students dont carefully put their stuff in their backpacks - they just jam it in. It is hard to fix once they come out. In my school, their storage drawers are extremely shallow and then the sketchbooks don't fit either after stuff has been put into their sketchbooks.
