Never breaks my pencils. I've used it with tons of brands of graphite and coloured pencils and the #5 point works perfectly for everything I put in. If I could only ever use one pencil sharpener it would be this.

STAD T’GAAL: simply the best.

The Stad T’Gaal is a surprisingly effective pencil sharpener. It sharpens at five different angles, offering different lengths for your graphite or coloured pencils - all with an incredibly fine point. Even with Primsacolour pencils, notorious for breaking, the T’Gaal almost completely eliminates this problem. It’s equally effective with Derwent, Caran D’ache, Polychromos, and Pablo coloured pencils. Highly recommended!
