iDye comes in a dissolvable packet, so there are never any messy powders to handle. Simply dissolve the packet in the dye bath or drop it in the washing machine, then add the fabric.
iDye is a hot water dye that may be used on the stovetop or in the washing machine. It produces brilliant colors on any natural fabric, including cotton, linen, canvas, silk, rayon and more. A single iDye packet will dye 1-1.3 kg (2-3 lbs) of dry fabric.

A really easy non-messy way to dye using your wash machine. The dye did not stain my machine at all. The fabric came out nice, soft and beautifully coloured. The only issue was I grabbed the wrong dye packet which delivered a lovely lavender instead of the steel gray I wanted for this project. I still have the gray so will do another sheet and pay more attention this time!
