Grafix Incredible Art Boards

They are a great tool in the water colour artist’s kit.

I really like this board. It’s lightweight and much better than the heavy acrylic boards I have been using. I cut it into two with a utility knife so I could work on two paintings at once. When I paint I wet the back of my paper and it sticks to the board with water tension, no staples or tape needed. It’s held up to multiple soakings so far. It is getting stained with the watercolor pigments and they don’t wipe off the surface once dry but they don’t seem to transfer to my paper so it’s all good. I plan to get the bigger Grafix board once I start painting on bigger paper.
