Edward C Lyons Dry Point Etching Needle Steel Twisted Double Point

Excellent tool for a gift for my sketching friend to begin his printmaking experience.

I thought it might have a different size point on each end but it works well.

I am new to dry point etching and this tool has worked flawlessly, but the twisted design cuts into my fingers as I use it. Maybe I’m holding it wrong I don’t know
