Derwent Inktense Pencil Set of 24

I luv these pencils…however, for me, I have to use them on the right media, in my case, must be illustration board only. Watercolor paper doesn’t work for my style of art.

I love these pencils!! You can use them like watercolour pencils or even regular coloured pencils, but when you apply water the colours become so vibrant. And unlike water colour pencils, they cannot be reactivated by water. They are ink. So once down they are permanent. Makes it easy to layer or to have 2 colours next to each other without blending. I have even seen people use them on cloth. Ypu can blend the pencils to make colours not in the tin and even if you sharpen the pencil, you can use the shavings. But mostly, what I love is how vibrant and intense the colours are once activated.

I love my intense water colour pencils. So soft and make an intense colour. Worth the $

Using these pencils on fabric has been a lot of fun with the intensity of colour being a happy surprise.
