These acrylic brushes receive mixed feedback from customers. Positive reviews praise their quality, sturdiness, versatility, and ability to hold paint nicely. One customer noted they're "easy to maintain" and work well for large murals. However, some beginners found the bristles too stiff, causing them to push paint rather than deposit it smoothly, especially with student-grade paints.

  • Great brush, holds paint nicely
  • It's sturdy, easy to maintain, and versatile
  • Seems fine!

I have nothing bad to say about this brand and quality brush

I have nothing bad to say about this brand and quality brush. I paint large format mural surfaces, and work with novice painters. It's sturdy, it is easy to maintain, and is versatile.

Bristles are too stiff

I have had a lot of trouble getting these brushes to work for me. They tend to push the paint around instead of depositing it, which looks really terrible with student-grade paints that aren't super-pigmented. They barely flex even when I apply substantial pressure which makes it difficult to paint in clean lines (I am using them to paint pretty basic shapes and patterns). I am new to acrylic painting but I suspect that these brushes might work better for a very thick, heavy-body paint that is very pigmented...but these brushes are intended for beginners, and beginners are unlikely to be using paints that are higher in quality (and therefore, more pigments) than student-grade ones. I think I will try the Bravura line next, as those brushes are described as having soft bristles.
