See what all the Buzz is about with this affordable wood panel!

Buzz Cradled Wood Panels are an economy unprimed surface perfect for practicing your acrylic painting, oil painting, encaustics, and experimenting with new techniques.

Featuring an unfinished basswood surface with pine stretcher bars, these panels are ready to be prepared for you media of choice. Customers praised these cradled wood panels as "perfect and solid" with good quality and affordable pricing. Popular for small artworks and versatile creative projects like sculpture plinths. However, one customer was disappointed that panels come primed, preferring natural wood grain. Some sizes have been discontinued.

  • Perfect and solid.
  • Really nice cradles. I love them for putting on tiny art works.
  • Used for making little plinths for sculptures with wooden legs - very versatile!

I just can't get enough of these lil' ones

I just can't get enough of these lil' ones. I participated in my first Sunshine Coast Art Crawl and these smaller sized works were first ones out of the door. Please keep these in stock so I can continue to paint and pass along the savings - making art affordable for everyone! Thank you OPUS!

inventing new purposes

I used mine for making little plinths for sculptures to stand on with 4 wooden legs screwed on and they can be painted any colour or texture and different sizes and taller or shorter.

Disappointed

Disappointed. Couldn't understand why they were primed. Why would anyone use primed wood cradle board? I love cradled panels because of the grain of the wood. Without that I might as well , use canvas.
I did buy a couple and made art with them but I still feel cheated.

Buzz Cradle Wood Panels

These Buzz cradle panels are most affordable and of a good quality. The unfortunate thing is that one size which I frequently use 8x24 has been discontinued.
