Blackwing (by Palomino) Long Point Pencil Sharpeners

It was expensive, but it does do what it says in that it will give a longer sharpened lead which is what I was needing. It is a two stage process where one sharpener blade is used to trim back the wood of the pencil and the second sharpening blade then sharpens the lead. The enclosing case holds the shavings so they do not merely fall to the floor.

Not quite as wonderful as it seemed...and $21+ was a lot of $ can't believe I did the impulse purchase.

Interesting concept still getting to know it but like it so far.

Perfect for when you need really fine points on pencils and coloured pencils. A must for anyone working with fine detailed work.
