I’m a multimedia artist, and I was making a handbound watercolor book. I really loved using this 90 lb paper for my project! It was easy to fold and sew together, making the binding process smooth and enjoyable. The paper folded beautifully, and since it’s lighter than heavier watercolor paper, I was able to include many more pages in my one-signature book.
As for performance, this paper worked really well with watercolor techniques. It held up beautifully to washes and layering without buckling excessively, which was a pleasant surprise for its weight. The texture is perfect—smooth enough for fine details and ink work but with enough tooth to grip the paint nicely.
Overall, I’m thrilled with how this paper performed and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a lightweight yet versatile watercolor paper, especially for handmade book projects!
