Amsterdam Acrylic paint provides the artist with an exciting array of working properties to explore various painting and colour techniques. This versatility is enhanced by the inclusion of specialty pigments, including metallic and pearl colours. For many artists, the use and application of these unique pigments is a mystery.
Join Royal Talens Art Education Director Jeff Olson for a comprehensive exploration of these distinctive pigments' qualities and working properties utilizing Amsterdam® Pearl & Metallic Specialty Acrylics to create nuanced and sophisticated mixtures with traditional acrylic colours.
Topics will include:

This informative hands-on workshop will happen at the Opus Art Supplies Granville Island location from 10:00 - 12:00 (PST). There is a $10 fee to register for this in-store Event. At the end of the Demo, you'll receive a $10 Opus Gift Card, and a coupon for 10% off.
About Your Host
Jeff Olson holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in painting and drawing and has been exhibiting for over 30 years. He has over a decade of college and university teaching experience in studio art and 25 years in the art material industry with product expertise in various mediums; Olson’s demonstrations deliver meaningful insights into the history, development, and application of artists’ materials.
