Watercolour painting can be full of energy, colour, and light. In this course you will learn a variety of painting techniques as well as how to develop a personal interpretation of landscape, figure, portrait, and more. This course will encourage you to accept the expressive potential of the medium when it is outside of your control. You will learn to love broad brush strokes, drips, and accidental effects. Starting from initial mark-making explorations, you will take an intuitive approach to painting from nature as well as reference images and exploratory drawings. Suitable for all levels.
