Unique recycled fibre paper. Machine-made Canal Papers from Papeterie Armand use fibres from clothing industry offcuts: white tee-shirts, blue denim, and other leftover natural fibres from industry.
This paper is made using industry offcut cotton rags. There is no bleaching or cooking of the fibres, only mixing the rag palette for different paper colours, making this paper a good ecological choice. Because offcuts are used, the colour varies from batch to batch. The characteristic depth of colour is caused by the different coloured fibres mingling together.
This paper has good tooth for drawing or pastels. Measures 22" × 30", about 15 pt. thick.
