Use this tape for hinging paper artwork or album pages, joining the edges of boxes, or adding a finishing touch to the edges of boards. The very fine linen cloth is flexible and strong.

The neutral pH acrylic adhesive gains strength overnight.

Not great

I’ve been framing my own work for years and usually use standers linen tape you know the kind you have to wet. I thought that the self adhesive would maybe save some time, I was wrong! Over the course of a week the tape started to slip and I eventually had to re-hinge the work. The mat was damaged and one of the prints was damaged beyond repair. All in all I cannot give this product a good review.

Self-adhesive vs Linen Hinging Tape

The self-adhesive hinging tape is excellent for small, lightweight watercolour paintings and the Linen Hinging Tape is excellent for larger, heavier mixed media works on paper.
