They were very smooth and worked well

Speedball water based ink

For a mid-range ink, this product is reliable when new, though some colours are a bit watery. Over time these inks lose their “oomph,” so it’s best to use them up rather than store them for months or longer. Really easy to clean up and colours are lovely and vibrant.

They do stuff

These inks dry so fast that I cannot use them in my regular practice. If you pour it onto your plate and roll it out you have under 10 minutes to work with it.
I also find they are too think to evenly disperse onto print making paper (especially thicker paper) and the come out patchy or cake-y.
However! I really like to use the white ink to transfer images from block to block (when making multi block prints).
They are crazy easy to clean up.
