This is my favorite paper for mixing oil colors. The grey of the paper helps for value discernment.

This works very well, it’s good quality paper that doesn’t soak through or tear easily. At about 50 cents/sheet I use every square cm.

Richeson grey matter paper palettes are five star.

I prefer seeing my paint on the grey paper rather than white. There is less glare, it is a Natural light to my eyes. This palette is best for clean up. It is strong and works well when you mix colours.
