this wire was so coarse and hard I could not bend it

this wire was so coarse and hard I could not bend it. I had to run out to the hardware store to get better wire to prepare my paintings for a show.

Better than galvanized wire

Harder to twist nicely than galvanized steel picture wire, but you’ll thank yourself when that wire doesn’t snap unexpectedly because of atmospheric corrosion and/or metal fatigue over the years at an unexpected sharp edge leading to shattered glass all over the floor and potential lacerations.
