Pour, spray, and play with luscious colours! Opus Essential Fluid Acrylic Colours have the same powerful pigment load as our Opus Essential Heavy Body Acrylic Colours, with a smooth, creamy flowing consistency.
Produced in small batches in North America, with a quality-first approach, this paint line features high concentrations of permanent, intense, and reliable pigments that suit a variety of painting techniques!
Their ultra-low viscosity makes them superbly suited for painting with acrylic and watercolour techniques, pouring directly onto surfaces and mediums, and even for use as inks for refillable paint markers, allowing you the creative freedom of endless mixed media techniques. You can use them for airbrushing, too: simply combine equal parts of this luscious paint with an airbrush medium, fill up your airbrush, and spray with impressive colour intensity.
Use these paints on any oil-free surface; they are ideal for use on canvas, paper, wood, or plastic, and dry to a semi-gloss or gloss finish. There is no end to the possibilities of creative play!

I love the ease of painting with these acrylic paints. Opacity and pigments are spot on. My only qualm is that the bottles sometimes pop open in warm weather, and a few times I have come back to spilled paint in my studio, or just an open container of paint.

I picked up some Opus paints while on holiday in Vancouver in 2024. Fell in love with Deep Rose. Thankful that I could order and you'd ship it to me ! That colour has proven to be an integral part of my Heart Card series.

I mixed my own colours and was happy with the results. I used it on ceramics. Very happy!
I like the consistency in the application on canvas. I don't have to add water, good for back grounds.
I'm a beginner painter that chose this set for price and prime colours. I realized it didn't come with black - but the brown is definitely nice to have. Went on smoothly and dried very quickly. Lovely colour quality (to my novice eyes)
I am a big fan of the Opus Fluid acrylics, but not of Titanium White. I find it incredibly watery and disappointing. It’s fine for mixing but disappointing when being used as strictly white.
Colour is not thin and dispenses easily.
They were just what I needed. They worked perfectly!

I'd like to give the paint a good review but it doesn't meet the quality I would like as it has a slight tackiness when dry. It is good for general use though.
