Creating classic patterns with Winsor & Newton Promarkers 

Four classic patterns: checkerboard, leopard print, geometric and houndstooth

In this video, learn how to draw four classic patterns: checkerboard, leopard print, geometric and houndstooth. Iva showcases simple techniques using Winsor & Newton Promarkers, Fineliners and Studio Collection Pencils to add personality to your designs.

Use Promarker Brush in Champagne colour for the base.

Layer Promarker Brush in Praline colour on top to add a bit of depth - define only the sides keeping the middle light.

Start making little ‘c’ shapes using Promarker Brush in Black.

Colour in the inner part of each ‘c’ shape with Burnt Sienna colour.

Finally add some texture using a colour pencil in dark brown and black again mainly focusing on the sides and leaving the middle part light.

Your leopard print is finished!
