Alabaster Stone Blocks

Harder than soapstone, white alabaster stone is a soft, fine grain mineral ideal for carving decorative objects. It is known for its semi-translucency and subtle variations in colour, resulting in a marble-like finish.

All alabaster is sold by the pound, with weights available from to 8 lbs to 20 lbs. The selection found in-store will vary in size, shape and colour, offering you a wealth of carving possibilities.

Please note: It is recommended that a dust mask or respirator is worn when sculpting stone.
