Paula Barrantes is a watercolorist and muralist known for her detailed and vibrant botanical art. Raised in Costa Rica, she grew up surrounded by lush gardens, a source of inspiration that has shaped her artistic style. She later honed her skills in Canada and the United States, earning a BFA from the San Francisco Art Institute.

Her work combines the delicate beauty of plants with bold compositions, creating a dynamic interplay of color and form. Paula’s art invites the viewer to connect deeply with nature, from tropical landscapes to close-up studies of leaves and flowers!
