Intensely vibrant watercolour pencils
Derwent Inktense is uniquely formulated to act like ink, for exceptional layering.
Apply the pencils dry to create strong, vivid tones. Then, to achieve a translucent ink-like effect, apply a light water wash with any size brush. The colour is permanent when dry.
They can also be used on silk or cotton fabric to create stunning paintings and quilts.

I love these pencils. The only real big complaint I have guys is your little bins where you put the individual pencils in are empty, not completely but some of the more popular colours are empty. I love to see them be a little more full, please
They are great! They work like watercolor pencils, but the colors are so beautiful and vibrant.
These are fantastic.I love how they roll onto to the paper.They are easy to apply the color onto the paper with very little effort involved.I use 7 different brands of pencils but this one might just be my favourite.
I'm new to Derwent Inktense pencils, but so far they have been really fun to experiment with and try different techniques. I like the fact that they dry permanent, so I can use them as underpaintings for watercolor to create texture.
The pencils are very highly pigmented, so a little goes a long way. The Dark Chocolate colour tends to lean towards purple when diluted.
They are easy to use and gorgeous colors

I adore inktense pencils, they're fantastic supplies. Very similar to watercolour pencils, but more vibrant and can be layered without picking up the previous layer as long as it's dried, for they are Ink, not Watercolour.
I like to make cards & it is fun to decorate
