About Your Host

Liz McDonald is an artist and teacher whose work is inspired by nature from the Pacific Northwest. Her practice at Cove Coast Studio centers on botanical themes expressed through printmaking, photography, painting, and bookbinding. Combining cutting-edge technology with traditional analog methods, she creates innovative multidimensional art. She captures its beauty in cyanotypes, monoprints, botanical prints, and photo transfers. Her process often blends many mediums, resulting in layered multimedia pieces.
