Opus Finest Cradled Wood Panels provide an excellent surface beyond just painting – make marks with acrylic, oil, mixed media, dry media, encaustic and even watercolour – or build upon it to make a 3D piece. This Canadian-crafted surface consists of 1¾″ pine stretcher bars and ¼″ thick Baltic birch plywood – thicker, sturdier, and heavier weight than other artist-quality cradled panels.
This rich plywood surface provides the ultimate choice – simply prepare this rigid surface with whatever ground is appropriate to your media.

Usually I have nothing but a fantastic experience with opus and the custom ordering process. When I received my order it was not correct. I paid (and was part of my quote) cross bracing for both canvas and neither have it. I emailed regarding the incorrect order over a week ago and still have not received a reply.
