Materials At Work: Spotlight on 'The Crawl'

The Eastside Culture Crawl 2022

For 26 years and counting, every November, the Eastside Arts Society [EAS] produces the Eastside Culture Crawl - a Visual Arts, Design & Craft Festival, in which local artists open their studios to the public.

The event is focused on the area bounded by Columbia St., 2nd Ave., Victoria Dr., and the Waterfront, and involves painters, jewellers, sculptors, furniture makers, weavers, potters, printmakers, photographers, glassblowers— ranging from emerging artists to those internationally established.

Our Spotlight on 'The Crawl'

In this episode, four of this year’s participants – Louise Solecki Weir, Girish Chandok, Tess Paul, and Brandy Mars – tell us what they have in store for the 2022 Crawl, plus discuss their relationship between them, their art and their tools.
