strathmore watercolor paper 300 series.

Although I knew this was a low quality paper, I bought it as a practice pad. It's not even good enough to practice. If you need a cheap paper for a class or watercolour experimentation don't waste your money. The cheapest watercolour pad from walmart is a hundred times better than this garbage. Surprisingly the Northshore water colour pad with more pages and a lower price is useable, unlike the Strathmore equivalent. Hopefully Opus stops carrying this paper. It's bad enough to stop a beginner from continuing on in watercolour. If this was the same paper my high school teacher bought to introduce her students to watercolour, no wonder I waited 20 years to pick it up again.
