I had a heavy shadow box frame that required wire hanging for an exhibition. The fabulous staff at the Granville Island store helped me attach this hardware and wire to my frame and were extremely helpful! I didn’t want to use D-rings because of the fear of splitting the thin plywood frame. These clips attach to the backing and I purchased 6ft wire that holds up to 60 lb separately and we used this wire instead of the one that came in the package. The drawing is still hanging on the wall at the gallery so this system definitely works! Thank you Granville Island staff!

These are not just for Opus Metal Exhibition Frames. If your looking for a different way to securely attach hanging wire to a frame because it is to thin for a sawtooth or traditional ring hangers then this hardware is for you! I would recommend them for anyone framing with a rigid backing, and they are super easy to use! Definitely a hidden jem in the frame world.

I hope I can buy just clips, not the pack with wire. Not all but some kind of frames need these clip and I want to buy more!
