I bought this as a gift for a friend. It is a great little bundle to get someone started with block printing. I own the same brayer and carving handle and have been using mine for over 25 years with no complaints.
This is a great kit for beginners. I bought some kits for participants of a linocut workshop I was leading. Couldn’t give it 5 stars, though, because a couple of the carving nibs were faulty, which I have found sometimes with the Speedball nibs. I usually pick them out individually to avoid this but you can’t do that with a kit. Too bad Speedball doesn’t have better quality control on these. Two of my students were having a hard time, which took me a while to realize was a faulty carving nib and not just beginner challenges. All of the other products in the kit were good.
A great starter pack to print making. Economical as well.
