Customers praised the ink's durability and coverage, with one noting prints lasted years in a hot tub. The ink provides "even and solid coverage" but dries quickly on blocks, requiring water spritzing. Overnight drying needed to prevent smudging. Some found the fabric hand less soft than paint and noted an odor.
After many years using the swim trunks in a hot tub the image is still great.
The Speedball fabric ink resulted in more even and solid coverage on the block.
They got it Just right for the consistency and stickiness of this ink.

Durable product
I've used this product to block print on fabric and on one occasion on swim trunks. After many years using the swim trunks in a hot tub the image is still great. I would highly recommend this product.

First time trying Speedball Fabric Block Printing Ink
I wanted to try this product in the hopes of getting a better print quality than with fabric paint, which tends to leave a texture on a speedy cut block due to the high water content. The Speedball fabric ink resulted in more even and solid coverage on the block, however I found that because it’s much “stickier” than fabric paint it dried on the printing plate too quickly, necessitating spritzing with water to keep it workable. I also experimented with adding the extender base, which seemed to slow the drying without especially affecting the colour concentration. I also made a preliminary waste print each time in order to prime the block and promote better coverage of colour. Believe the instructions when it says the ink has to dry overnight, otherwise you can smudge the print - which makes multi-colour prints slow to produce. The product has an odour which eventually dissipates. The hand of the printed fabric is not as soft as fabric paint, which is of greater concern for garments than art pieces, and because it tends to somewhat sit on the surface I suspect the colour might wear. Overall I was satisfied with the product and will continue to use it.

They got it Just right
They got it Just right for the consistency and stickiness of this ink they made for printmaking.
I've tried regular stuff, but it just slides around when rolling it out and applying it. The printmaking ink they have that isn't for fabric really rinses out easy, but I prefer this stuff they make for fabric since it's more permanent for printing on anything but paper, and all you need is to wash it with soap and water before it dries on anything.
