Les toiles profondes Opus Exhibition sont agrafées à l'arrière pour une présentation nette, sans encadrement. Cette toile fabriquée au Canada est 100 % coton pur tendue sur des châssis en tilleul de 1 ½ po de profondeur. Elle est dotée d'une toile de 7 oz (237 g/m²) apprêtée pour un poids fini de 10 oz (328-385 g/m²). L'emballage sous film rétractable garantit une toile propre pour votre prochaine création.
La surface est spécialement apprêtée pour Opus avec deux couches de gesso acrylique afin d'offrir des résultats supérieurs en peinture acrylique. Pour la peinture à l'huile, nous recommandons un minimum de deux couches ou plus de gesso pour des résultats optimaux.

Customers praised this double-primed, deep 1.5" stretched canvas for "excellent quality" and "great price." Most found it sturdy, taut, and well-constructed with thick canvas and strong bars. Some add extra gesso for oils. A few noted inconsistencies: occasional sagging, canvas flaws, or insufficient priming. Some felt larger sizes need corner gussets and keys for re-tightening.

It's a good product. Light weight, taut, requires only one or two additional gesso layers and is adequately reinforced for good rigidity.

I have been using these Opus canvases (about 300) for many years and love them! I usually buy the larger ones and paint directly onto the pre-gessoed surface which is perfect for Acrylic paint. The frames are never warped and the tension correct. Great value too!

I ordered these canvasses, hoping they would be a decent quality for the price I was paying. The cost per canvas was lower than any other Canadian company I checked, so I was wondering how the quality would compare to ones I was buying locally. I am very happy to report that the canvasses are great, and I am totally satisfied with the weight of the canvas itself, the priming is nice and even, and the stretcher bars nice and sturdy. I have now placed a second order as I enjoyed working on this surface.
I am really happy with Opus pre stretched canvas. Good consistency and a good price. I like using the deep option as many of my clients prefer not to frame them. I often pull the painting colours around the sides. It gives the paintings a nice affect

Reliable product
Opus canvases have never disappointed - they're sturdy and the canvas is nice and thick. Feels stable while painting. Usually I sand them and add a few extra coats of gesso for smoothness. Highly recommend, have been buying from Opus for 2 years. Michael's canvases will make you cringe once you've experienced one of these bad boys.
