La surface est spécialement préparée pour Opus avec deux couches de gesso acrylique pour des résultats optimaux en peinture acrylique. Pour la peinture à l'huile, nous recommandons au moins deux couches de gesso pour un résultat optimal.

Canvas size issues
Actually I had a some problems with the 20x30x.75 canvas s I`ve purchased lately . First off I like to frame my pieces which makes my complaint important . I`ve had two canvas`s 1/4" short on the 30" side and 4 canvas`s at 1/8" short all the way around . As you know frames are made about 1/16' larger than canvas's purchased measurements to account for the folds of the canvas at the corners . I`ve also had issues with the canvas`s being out of square which also creates problems when framing . This has been a lesser issue . Now when I go to purchases canvas`s i Bring along a square and measuring tape with me . I exclusively purchase Opus Exhibition Pre-Stretched Canvas Surfaces - Slim

Best Canvases Ever
I’ve been buying canvases from Opus for almost 3 years now, and I’m always impressed by the quality. I tried Michael’s canvases once and was appalled with how thin they are in comparison. They’re 100% worth the extra cost, and I use them for paid commissions because they’re super sturdy and high quality. I order them online sometimes, and they always arrive promptly and well packaged with zero damage. Once I had a problem ordering, and with one call the issue was resolved and they included a little card with my order for the inconvenience. Definitely will be purchasing again.

only problem for framing they require custom frames even though they are wrapped canvasses as centimetres not inches are used here. I try to re-use my great Pacific frames from Opus altenating my 8x10's & 12x16' as my palette never changes this works for display & hanging. Sadly you no longer carry these they were/are the best! Do you still carry 1/2" flat aquarelle beushes with clear plastic handles?

Awesome canvas to use for a large display piece. I still double primed it, like I do with all of my canvases, and sealed it with a top coat after. Didn't find any warps or bumps in it.

I think the canvases are good, just wish they had the 4 coats of gesso on so I could start painting right away.

Good product, terrible shipping service.
I ordered canvases on-line which we’re supposed to be delivered mid December. When they didn’t show up I contacted the shipping department and after multiple calls and emails trying to let them know my deliver still hadn’t come, with promises it would be sorted out soon, my canvases were not delivered until the second week in January, which put me 3 weeks behind to start a commission. Not a reliable service for professional artists. To top it off I received no offer of compensation for the delay, pooper service and hassle.
