Poor coverage, hard to apply

This was very frustrating to apply. The spray from the can did not cover a wide area (narrow spray, rather than wide), and no matter how you held it, paint collected on the rim and dripped down onto my board. I had a 2x4 foot cradle I was painting the surface of. The can covered it 1.25 times. I went to Home Depot and bought Rust Oleum chalkboard paint to finish the 2nd coat and do a third and it was a WAY better product. Better coverage, better spray, no dripping.

A chalkboard spray should make things easier, not harder — and while many artists have had success with this Krylon option, it clearly didn’t deliver for your specific use.
