Papier Kitakata

Fabriqué à la main au Japon, le Kitakata est un papier lisse et léger, composé à 100 % de fibres de gampi. Les fibres de gampi ont un éclat naturel et sont souvent utilisées pour la confection de mouchoirs fins.

Le papier Kitakata a un pH neutre, quatre plis et un grammage de 30 g/m². Il est idéal comme papier de conservation pour les projets de reliure ou de gravure sur porcelaine.

Kitakata Review

I have been using Kitakata for chine colle in printmaking. I like how strong it is, even when it is quite wet or when it has adhesive on it. It doesn't pull apart when it comes out of the press and is pulled away from the plate. Wish it came in a bit more colours. A light blue would be nice.
