Le médium à cire Dorland est un composé de cires, de terres fossiles pures, de résines et d'huile. D'apparence laiteuse dans le contenant, il offre un fini transparent et non jaunissant sur une multitude de surfaces et constitue un excellent support pour les peintures et les pigments. Smooth and Creamy

Using cold wax in my oil painting to make the paint thicker and to have a matte finish. I also use the wax as a varnish and the plastic container allows me to put it into the microwave to soften it up to ensure a more fluid medium. Very little smell. Slightly cheaper than a competing manufacturer.

Goes on smoothly, dries and buffs nicely, gives a beautiful deep luster to watercolour. Very expensive. Glad I only need it now and then.
