Hahnemühle Bamboo 105 est le premier papier à croquis de la collection Hahnemühle Traditional FineArt, fabriqué à partir de fibres de bambou. Ce papier blanc naturel, extrêmement résistant au vieillissement, présente une surface unique et rugueuse, idéale pour les techniques d'esquisse et de dessin.

Ce papier de haute qualité aux tons chauds offre un excellent contraste et une excellente tenue des couleurs. Grâce à l'utilisation de bambou, une plante hautement renouvelable, le papier Hahnemühle Bamboo 105 est synonyme de production de papier naturel et économe en ressources.

Les carnets de croquis Bamboo sont un véritable accroche-regard : leur couverture est ornée de tiges de bambou beiges qui s'harmonisent parfaitement avec le papier intérieur, composé à 90 % de fibres de bambou et à 10 % de fibres de coton. Disponibles aux formats portrait A5 et A4, ils contiennent chacun 128 pages.

I really like the paper in this sketchbook for pen and ink and dry media

I really like the paper in this sketchbook for pen and ink and dry media. You can really puddle ink on it and it doesn't feather or bleed. The only thing I have found that bleeds through are alcohol markers, so you'll need a sheet behind to protect the the next page. The paper is a nice thickness, but you can see the image you drew behind it, so it might not be comfortable to draw on both sides for you.
The paper is an off-white colour with a fine grain texture. Fine liners, dip pens, fountain pens, coloured pencil, graphite works really well, especially if you enjoy texture. The paper will buckle under heavy watercolour washes.
I removed a star for two reasons. One, I wish it had an elastic closure and the cover is made of a woven-textured paper that doesn't feel durable. I had accidentally blooped some ink on the cover and I tried to wash it off, but the cover started pilling and rubbing off.
Overall I enjoy working in this sketchbook and I feel it's a great value.
