La plaque d'impression en gel ressemble à de la gélatine, mais elle est durable, réutilisable et se conserve à température ambiante. Facile à nettoyer, elle est toujours prête à imprimer. La monotypie sur une plaque Gelli est simple et amusante, sans presse. Recommandée pour les peintures acryliques, elle est également compatible avec les peintures à l'huile. Facile à nettoyer (utilisez du savon doux et un essuie-tout pour les peintures acryliques, ou de l'huile pour bébé pour les peintures à l'huile), vous pouvez éviter de la nettoyer entre chaque utilisation pour jouer avec les résidus et obtenir des résultats amusants. À utiliser avec des textures amusantes, des pochoirs et des outils à pointe souple.

GelliArts plates will accept a variety of inks and paints. I have used these with water based block printing ink, water soluble oil paint, and acrylic paint. I find gelli printing to be a great warm up activity to get my creative juices flowing. Set up and clean up is relatively quick.
I am loving the round plate and using it for making mandalas by pressing fresh flowers into the plate….wonderful detail and great way to use up Mother’s Day bouquets.

I love it! If you are willing to experiment and don’t need “perfect” results, monoprinting with Gelli plates is addictive. Even so so results can be added to and over printed in layers. There is tons of info on YouTube about how to get started. I had good results right away, even with magazine photo transfers. I’m using my hand printed papers as backgrounds for my sketches and pen and watercolour paintings. Because I am using acrylic paint, I can also use my pens right on the prints. There are endless options.
I've been waiting to get this for so long - it does not disappoint! So exciting to be able to make larger prints and collage papers - it will really help my larger format paintings to have this source of material.
It does what it is supposed to! This is the first printing plate I have bought. Having fun with it so far.
These are so fun! Bought for my 11 year old son, he has already done a bunch of prints and really enjoys it!
