These oil colors offer excellent pigment density and a buttery consistency ideal for landscape painting. Customers said they're "just lovely" for highlighting trees, shrubs, and grasses. While praised for vibrancy and staying power over 20 years of use, some noted burnt umber dries quickly on the palette and the price point is quite expensive.
Buttery, vibrant paint with excellent staying power!
Alpine Blue-Green is just lovely, an unusual but really useful colour.
Does very well to bring a light through the grasses of spring or the trees.

Disappointed
The paint itself is fine. My issue is with your locations and online store. It is so difficult to find anything online, feels like a toddler built your website. And the numbers the locations have of any item do not match what they actually have in the stores. I've gone in too many times after checking online and when I get there they don't have it. I needed charcoal paper for a commission and it took me three weeks to get it from you. Honestly pretty much anything I've been looking for lately isn't in stock. Your locations look like they are closing, so many empty shelves and boxes. The crappy thing is, there's really no where else to go. Every time I need to go to Opus what was once excitement because it was like a candy store, is now just incredibly frustrating. When I am able to order online from somewhere else, I do.

Permanent Green Light
If you work with in the landscape this green toned down with edges of other colours does very well to bring a light through the grasses of spring or the trees.

Gamblin: best choice
I've used Gamblin oil colours for 20 years. For me, it's the best local choice for buttery, vibrant paint. It's staying power is excellent!
