These watercolor pencils are praised for vibrant pigmentation and excellent blending capabilities. Customers said they "hold their point longer" and create nice effects when water is added. However, some noted issues with breakage during sharpening and texture not meeting expectations when wet. Individual pencils can be replaced.

Not quite what hoped for

Once using a wet brush it's not the texture I'd hoped for.

Love them all!

I’m slowly replacing all my watercolour pencils with the Faber- Castell brand. They hold their point longer and are easy for blending with other colours. I like that I can replace individual pencils too. Adding water with my brush gives a nice vibrant colour or softens easily depending on what I want.

I love the colour, but the colour pencils kept broken while I sharpened some of them. And it turned out really annoyed. My new colour pencils were only 1/2 leftover compared to the original full size.

Great products

The pigment is fantastic for all the Faber Castell Albrecht Durer.
The only one I find a bit disappointing is the gold.
