I'd never used this type of crayon before, I purchased a blue and white, but saw an artist using them on Instagram. I tried both on black water colour paper with metallic watercolours and metallic gel pen. I think these are wonderful crayons to use for mixed media artwork and as a beginner of mixed media they are easy to use. I will be purchasing other colours.
