The story behind Art Toolkit Pocket Palettes

A business-card-sized palette born on an Arctic island.

Artist Maria Coryell-Martin founded Art Toolkit in Port Townsend, Washington. She was inspired to design a compact painting kit after fieldwork monitoring walruses on a small island off eastern Greenland.

The result is compact, configurable and cute: a quality mixing surface over a magnetic base that holds four sizes of refillable stainless steel pans.

Try it in the studio

Fill pans from your favourite tubes and let them dry overnight. Arrange warm and cool versions of each primary for a full range of mixes.
