Contest Period: September 1, 2026 – October 30, 2026, 11:59 PM PST
Prize: One (1) Caran d'Ache Luminance 6901 Wooden Box Set of 100 Coloured Pencils (112 pencils total, including blenders)
Approximate Retail Value: CAD $1,032.50
Odds of Winning: Depend on the total number of eligible entries received
Eligibility: Open to legal residents of Canada who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Must be an active Opus Membership Program member at the time of the draw. Employees of Opus Framing Ltd. (operating as Opus Art Supplies) and their immediate family members are not eligible.

How to Enter

1. Purchase Entry

Make any Caran d'Ache purchase in-store at a participating Opus Art Supplies location on or before October 30, 2026, 11:59 PM PST. Complete a ballot with your name and active Opus Member number at the time of purchase. Online orders, including online orders for in-store pickup, do not qualify. Limit one (1) entry per purchase.

2. No Purchase Necessary (Free) Entry

No purchase is necessary to enter or win. To enter for free, handwrite a unique essay of exactly 100 words on the topic "Why Opus Art Supplies matters to your creative practice," and mail it, along with your full name, phone number or email, and active Opus Member number, to:

Free entries must be received by October 30, 2026, 11:59 PM PST. Limit one (1) free entry per person, per envelope. Mechanically reproduced, copied, or previously submitted essays will be disqualified. Free entries are included in the same random draw as purchase entries and receive identical odds of winning.

Winner Selection

One (1) winning entry will be selected at random from all eligible entries (purchase and free entries combined) on or about November 1, 2026. To be declared a winner, the selected entrant must first correctly answer, without assistance, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question. If the selected entrant fails to answer correctly, cannot be reached within a reasonable time, or does not meet eligibility requirements, an alternate entry may be selected.

General Conditions

  • By entering, participants agree to be bound by these official rules.
  • The prize must be accepted as awarded and is not transferable or redeemable for cash.
  • Opus Art Supplies reserves the right to verify eligibility and Opus Membership status.
  • Opus Art Supplies will not unduly delay the distribution of the prize.
  • This contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Caran d'Ache.
  • Void where prohibited by law.
