Each class is dedicated to learning key visual fundamentals using traditional models such as Mastercopy, Sculpture Drawing, Life and Linear Scapes and designed to accommodate the seasoned artist as well as the recreational art enthusiast. You will enjoy full lectures and demonstrations which offer you a traditional step-by-step approach to observational understanding and techniques. Mark Anthony’s kind approach leads you through unraveling the most complex visual challenges, stage by stage, in a surprisingly easy to understand fashion.

During each session, you will exlpore techniques from key artistic periods in the context of fundamental principles and practical application. Examples include measurement, light form and value, spatial understanding and perspective, anatomy, and poetic composition and finishing. Students have the privilege to learn by example as all demonstrations are completely performed from a blank page. Gaining control of a skillful execution can be easier than you may have realized.

All levels welcome. Each individual progresses at his/her own level and speed.
